Breathing Treatments...

...are not fun! Gavin gets mad and runs when he sees me setting it up! Thankfully, he's doing much better and only requires one at night. It takes 10-15 minutes to complete and that's a long time for a 2 year old to sit still. I usually put the TV on a cartoon while we do it. I try to do it at 8:00 so he FAVORITE cartoon, Wow Wow Wubbzy, is on. He can sit and watch the whole show with out moving. Hopefully, we will only have to do these through the weekend, and he will be better!

On a happier note, his hemoglobin was 12.6. Which is awesome! I was temporarily ecstatic thinking it reached this level on it's own, but quickly remembered he is on steroids for the croup. (Oral corticosteroids is the preferred treatment for autoimmune hemolytic anemia). But, we will take it! He doesn't have to go back to the Hematologist until May!
