18 Month Well Check

Gavin went yesterday for his 18 month well check. He weighs 23 lbs. 2 oz (25th percentile), he is 32 inches tall (50th percentile! woohoo! he's average height for the first time since birth!), and his head is 20 inches (98th percentile...hey atleast 2% of the population his age has a bigger head than him! LOL). His hemotologist's office is worried about his weight gain. They see him every month, and follow his weight gain and they think he isn't gaining enough, while his pediatrician says he's been following the same curve since he was 6 months old. So, Dr. Moore's office wants to run some tests next month if he doesn't gain any weight (check his thyroid, growth hormone levels, etc.) So, for the past week, we've been trying to fatten him up a little! He eats lots of peanut butter and bread, and instead of turkey sandwiches he gets bologna. He's been drinking alot of whole milk, chocolate milk, and pediasure. So, if you have any kid friendly fattening food suggestions, we are all ears!
