surgery for Gavin. This sucks. There isn't another way to put it. I took him back to the ENT today because of his sleeping problems. He most likely has sleep apnea, and since he isn't a candidate for an adenoidectomy, they will take out his tonsils. According to the ENT his tonsils are "very large" and could be causing breathing troubles while he is sleeping. Because of his medical history and age, they elected to do the procedure as an inpatient rather than outpatient so he will have to spend the night in the hospital. I'm waiting for the nurse to call with the date of the surgery.
