Kami and Luke 18 Month Well Check

I took Kami and Luke to the pediatrician yesterday for their 18 month well baby check up. They got the varicella (chicken pox) and hepatitis a vaccinations. They cried, but Kami took it a little harder than Luke. She tends to be the drama queen of the bunch. Now on to stats and fun info!

Kami weighs 23lb 5oz (25th percentile). Which is up 2lbs 7oz from last time. She is 31 inches tall (25th percentile) and her head is 19 inches around (90th percentile.) So, she's a whole half an inch taller than last visit! She says just about anything, except MiMi, Luke, or Gavin. I can't get her to say this words for anything! She's very polite and says "Thank you" when you give her something, and "No ma'am" when she answers no. She still loves her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chicken nuggets, but will eat just about anything you put in front of her. She loves bananas and apples and has recently started eating gummy fruit snacks, which she equally loves.

Luke weighs 26lb 5oz (50th percentile,) up a whopping 4oz from our last visit. But, he did grow an inch from last time. Putting him at 32 1/2 inches tall, which is in the 50th percentile. His head, is still big folks. 20 1/4 inches around which is still off the charts. He doesnt' say much. He says Mama, Brees (our puppy), no, and bye bye mostly. He can say other things like dada, mimi, pop, etc. but usually doesn't. But, he still loves the word no! He says it with such force. And just like his daddy, he'll argue with a brick wall! He loves peanut butter and jelly and chicken nuggets as well, but like his sister, he will eat just about anything. He has a real sweet tooth. He loves chocolate and anything sugar, so we have to watch it. I try to make sure they all eat fruits for dessert with the occassional cookie or donut!

I'm taking Gavin back to the ENT for his surgical follow up and then we are going to Jena. The kids are going to be spending the weekend there, while I come home and host a bridal shower!

sounds like they are both doing amazingly well :) Hard to believe I have been following along since when you had just become pregnant with them and now...they are walking and talking!
