Rainbow Cake

For Thanksgiving, I made a really cute rainbow cake. And I forgot it sitting on my kitchen counter in Denham, 3 hours away from where our Thanksgivng festivities were taking place. So, I cut a piece of Gavin when we got back. He promptly told me the colors: Green, Orange, Blue! Those are the only ones he can currently recognize.

I'm going to be making a Christmas version this weekend for the Randall Family Christmas, and then again for Christmas with Chad's family. I'm anxious to see how it turns out!

I can't believe you made this! Is this the same recipe that was on MckMama's blog a while back? I think I want to try it too. How long did it take?

This is a popular cake! My SIL made one for her daughter's 2nd birthday last week, but once a few pieces were cut out it got top heavy and fell over (and she used fondant which was not so good). Looks yummy!
