World Down Syndrome Day

Today, March 21, is dedicated to bringing awareness to Down Syndrome. March 21, was chosen because Down Syndrome is a trisomy of the 21st chromosome, thus giving you 3/21! A blog friend of mine, Kate, and her family have been raising funds to adopt 2 little girls, Bethany and Rebekah, with Down Syndrome. The girls are currently in the Ukraine. Please visit Kate's blog! She is doing multiple fundraisers right now, including selling Candles and Popcorn, as well as taking any donations. They would love to be able to travel to the Ukraine and bring the girls home by summer!
